API Release States
When we introduce new features or products, we often release them in stages to ensure quality and gather feedback. Here’s what our Alpha and Beta API releases mean for you:
Alpha
- Early Access: The API is in the early stages of development.
- Limited Availability: Access may be limited to invitation or request only.
- Active Changes: Features and endpoints may change or be removed without notice.
- Not for Production: We do not recommend using Alpha APIs in production systems.
- Your Feedback Matters: We rely on your input to improve the API.
Beta
- Wider Access: The API is more stable and available to a broader audience.
- Most Features Complete: Major features are implemented, but some changes may still occur.
- Improved Stability: Suitable for testing and development, but not yet recommended for production use.
- Feedback Welcome: Your experience helps us finalize the API for general release.
In summary:
- Alpha = Early testing, expect changes, not for production.
- Beta = More stable, broader testing, still not final.
