Keycloak
Keycloak provides central identity and access management for applications. It supports single sign-on and authentication through open standards such as OpenID Connect and SAML.
What does Keycloak do?
Keycloak manages authentication across multiple applications. You can use realms, clients, roles, and groups to organize access. It also supports connections to external identity providers and optional multi-factor authentication.
Why Managed by SysEleven?
SysEleven operates the Keycloak service and its required PostgreSQL Building Block within the agreed service scope. This includes lifecycle management, updates, and monitoring of the service's availability and operation.
Required database
Keycloak requires a separate PostgreSQL Building Block for persistent data in the same Kubernetes setup or region. Its size, availability, and backup setup are determined according to the agreed requirements.
Your responsibilities
You configure realms, clients, roles, and authentication flows. You also integrate your applications and APIs and maintain any custom login pages or themes.
