RabbitMQ
RabbitMQ is a message broker for asynchronous communication between applications and services. It helps decouple systems and process work through queues instead of direct requests.
What does RabbitMQ do?
Applications can publish messages to exchanges and consume them from queues. This supports background jobs, event-driven applications, and the handling of temporary load peaks.
RabbitMQ can run as a cluster with replicated queues and failover mechanisms.
Why Managed by SysEleven?
SysEleven operates the RabbitMQ cluster within the agreed service scope. This includes lifecycle management, updates, and monitoring of cluster health, connections, queue lengths, and message throughput.
Backup considerations
Data backup and recovery depend on the agreed service scope. An additional Velero volume backup for RabbitMQ can be arranged separately.
Your responsibilities
You configure exchanges, queues, bindings, routing keys, users, and virtual hosts. You also manage producers and consumers and remain responsible for the content and meaning of the messages your applications exchange.
