SysEleven Regions

All SysEleven resources and services can be accessed via API. SysEleven Cloud operates in two primary OpenStack regions:

SysEleven Regions

  • HAM1: Located in Hamburg, Germany
  • DUS2: Located in Düsseldorf, Germany

These regions serve as the geographical and logical boundaries for our cloud resources.

Regional Resources

The following resources are specific to either HAM1 or DUS2:

  • OpenStack resources (e.g., compute instances, volumes, networks)
  • MetaKube resources
  • S3 object storage
  • Database as a Service (DBaaS)

When working with these resources, you'll need to specify which region you're operating in.

Region Selection

Always ensure you're working in the intended region when creating or managing resources. The region can typically be selected in the dashboard or specified in API calls.

Cross-Regional Services

Some SysEleven services operate across regions:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)

This service is not bound to specific regions and can be accessed globally.
