2025-10-01 Feature Release "Provisioned Metrics"
Version: 1.2.0
What's New
We released "Provisioned Metrics" to simplify and accelerate the integration of database and host node metrics into SysEleven Observability environment. This enhancement ensures greater visibility into essential system components.
New Capabilities:
- Automatic Integration: Key performance metrics from databases and host nodes are automatically collected and forwarded to a dedicated read-only Observability tenant associated with the project.
- Flexible Dashboarding: While no pre-provisioned Grafana dashboards are provided by SysEleven, customers can connect their own Grafana instance to visualize the provisioned metrics.
- Separation of Metrics: Metrics from managed services (like DBaaS) are delivered to a separate read-only tenant and are not mixed with metrics from the project’s main SysEleven Observability tenant. This ensures clean separation for operational use and billing transparency.
2025-06-30 Feature Release "Private Network"
Version: 1.1.0
What's New
With this release, DBaaS instances can be accessed via a shared private network. This enables customers to connect to their databases over an internal, non-public communication path without exposing them to the public internet.
New Capabilities:
-
Shared Private Network Access: DBaaS instances are reachable through a private, shared network segment provided by the platform.
-
No Public Exposure Required: Databases can now be operated without public IP addresses, ensuring traffic stays within the internal infrastructure.
-
Terraform and UI Support: Network configuration is available via API, UI, and Terraform provider since calendar week 23.
