This outlines our strategic focus and major goals for SysEleven IAM in 2025.

Q1 2025

  • Theme: Enhanced Access Management for Teams and Machines.
  • Key Deliverables:
    • Teams Feature: Group users for simpler access control.
    • Service Accounts: Introduce organization-bound machine identities with fine-grained permissions on organizations and projects.

Q2 2025

  • Theme: Improved Infrastructure as Code Experience.
  • Key Deliverables:
    • Terraform Provider Enhancements: Significant improvements to our IAM Terraform provider for easier automation and management.

Q3 2025

  • Theme: Granular OpenStack Access Control.
  • Key Deliverables:
    • Fine-Grained OpenStack Permissions: Introduce over 10 distinct roles for users and service accounts to manage OpenStack resources with precise control.

Q4 2025

  • Theme: Performance and Security Modernization.
  • Key Deliverables:
    • Performance Improvements: Optimize the underlying system for speed and responsiveness.
    • API Key Deprecation: Begin deprecating older API keys in favor of more flexible service accounts.

Note: This roadmap is a high-level guide and may evolve. For 2026, we are exploring the possibility of introducing self-service OIDC login to the platform.
