What data is collected and provided by the service?

SysEleven Observability collects and provides metrics and logs centrally. Access is via the provided Mimir and Loki APIs.

How long is the data retained by default?

By default, metrics are retained for 6 months and logs for 1 month.

Can I delete data or adjust the retention period?

Yes. Data deletion and adjustment of data retention are provided for as pre-authorised service requests and are handled by the Service Desk.

How is access to the data secured?

Access is exclusively via encrypted connections. In addition, access is restricted to writing and reading; accidental deletion by users is impossible.
